Cherokee County Schools Chalks Up Two Million Dollars in Energy Savings
CENTRE, AL — Faculty and staff for Cherokee County Schools have chalked up more than two million bucks worth of energy-saving behavior. Their energy-efficient changes have achieved significant savings — and those good habits were celebrated at a recent Board of Education meeting. Board members and administrators recognized net savings of more than two million dollars at the July 20 board meeting.
