Dr. Randy Hoff, PE, CEM, CMVP

Vice Chairman

Randy joined Cenergistic in 2004 and serves as Vice Chairman. His passion is achieving the maximum savings for Cenergistic’s clients by providing innovative energy conservation solutions and strategies. Randy led the company’s initative with ENERGY STAR, resulting in Cenergistic’s recognition as ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year or Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence every year since 2009. Through his efforts 52% of ENERGY STAR Certified K-12 Buildings are Cenergistic clients. He joined Cenergistic after serving in various roles at General Electric Corporation (GE), where he earned his Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt.

Randy is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. In 2010, he earned a Certificate in Sustainability from the Environmental & Civil Engineering Department at Southern Methodist University. He attained a Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from Marquette University after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

In 2017, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M where he is a member of the Advisory Council.
