Dr. Randy Hoff, PE, CEM, CMVP

Vice Chairman

Randy joined Cenergistic® in 2004. His passion is achieving the maximum savings for Cenergistic’s clients by providing innovative energy conservation solutions and strategies.

Randy led the company’s initiative with ENERGY STAR®, resulting in Cenergistic’s recognition as ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year or Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence every year since 2009. Through his efforts, 52% of ENERGY STAR Certified K-12 Buildings are Cenergistic® clients. He joined Cenergistic® after serving in various roles at General Electric Corporation (GE), where he earned his Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt.

Randy is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. In 2010, he earned a Certificate in Sustainability from the Environmental & Civil Engineering Department at Southern Methodist University. He attained a Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from Marquette University after earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.

In 2017, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M where he is a member of the Advisory Council.
