DALLAS, May 29, 2020 — Cenergistic, a national sustainability company, announces the retirement of its East Coast Regional Vice President of Client Operations and the subsequent promotions of key executives. Jake Jacobs, a venerated face of the company for many clients and staff, is slated to retire on May 31. Jacobs has served at Cenergistic for over three years. Before that, he spent 32 years as an administrator in Johnston County, North Carolina public education.

“My time here at Cenergistic has given me the opportunity to meet some really great people and to develop some great relationships,” said Jacobs. “Cenergistic has made me even more aware that we are doing the right thing regarding reduced energy consumption. It is great for our clients, and it is also great for the environment. I will truly miss all the people who make this a great company to work for.”

With Jacobs’ departure comes a realignment of the Operations team. Rob Sullivent, currently Jacobs’ counterpart in the West, will move to Jacobs role on June 1. Piper Ezzell will move from leading the Implementation team to West Coast RVP of Client Operations. Jeff Zumwalt, currently leading Higher Education Implementation and the Performance Analytics team, will supervise all Dallas office Operations staff, centralizing the division.

“We’re going to miss Jake Jacobs as a leader and a positive spirit here at Cenergistic. I’ve always valued Jake’s perspective,” said Dr. Randy Hoff, P.E., Cenergistic’s Vice Chairman. “On behalf of the company, I want to thank Jake for his many years of service.”
