Jenny Gray is a senior legal executive with 19 years of experience advising public and private companies on complex business, employment, governance, compliance, and commercial matters. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for delivering practical, business-focused legal counsel while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth, manage risk, and navigate transformational change. Based in Dallas, Texas, she most recently served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Torrid, where she supported the company’s continued growth and strategic business initiatives.
Prior to joining Torrid, Jenny served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Tuesday Morning, where she led the company’s legal strategy during one of the most challenging periods in its history, including corporate restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. She also held senior legal leadership roles at Tailored Brands and other organizations, developing extensive expertise in corporate governance, employment law, litigation management, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and enterprise risk management.
Jenny currently serves on the Council of the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas, the governing body that provides leadership and strategic oversight for the Section, and on the Advanced In-House CLE Program Committee, which supports continuing legal education for Texas corporate counsel. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University and her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law. Jenny was recognized as the 2022 DFW General Counsel of the Year for a Small Legal Department and is committed to mentoring future leaders and serving the legal profession. She and her husband, Chris, live in Plano and enjoy spending time with their six adult children and their families.
