Sustained Excellence Award for Superior Achievement in Energy Savings Initiatives
Cenergistic is honored to announce it has received the 2024 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award for the 16th consecutive year. This is the highest level of recognition from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
The award recognizes industry-leading organizations that help companies optimize energy performance and manage energy costs to create a healthier and more efficient environment for their customers.
In 2023, Cenergistic helped clients qualify for 1,009 ENERGY STAR Building Certifications, a recognition signifying a building’s energy performance. Buildings earn Certification through a benchmarking process that compares energy performance to similar buildings nationwide. To earn Certification, buildings meet standards for ventilation and occupant comfort as well, and the results are verified by a licensed Cenergistic professional engineer.
“The ENERGY STAR recognition validates the stellar work our teams and partners perform on the ground every day,” said Dr. William S. Spears, Founder and CEO of Cenergistic. “It’s our mission to help our partners save resources by optimizing energy use and reducing waste. With the unpredictability of today’s energy prices, it’s more important than ever to have a plan in place to help manage rising costs. Our science-based programs and patented technologies are designed to optimize energy performance and create budget flexibility to help allocate savings where our partners need it most.”
The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award is particularly meaningful because it recognizes Cenergistic’s sustained success in capturing substantial long-term energy savings for thousands of client buildings.
Since 1986, Cenergistic, the pioneer and leading provider of technology-enabled energy conservation services, has helped its clients achieve more than $6.8 billion in utility savings and more 15,000 ENERGY STAR Building Certifications.
“President Biden’s Investing in America agenda creates unprecedented opportunity to build a clean energy economy, and private sector partners through programs like ENERGY STAR are leading the way,” said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan. “I congratulate this year’s ENERGY STAR award winners for their innovation and leadership, in delivering cost-effective energy efficient solutions that create jobs, address climate change, and contribute to a healthier environment for all.”
Each year, the ENERGY STAR program honors a select group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to energy efficiency and the transition to a clean energy economy. ENERGY STAR award winners lead their industries in the production, sale, and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, buildings, services, and strategies. These efforts have saved more than 5 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity over the past 30 years.
Winners are selected from a network of thousands of ENERGY STAR partners. For a complete list of 2024 winners and more information about ENERGY STAR’s awards program, visit energystar.gov/awardwinners
